For wellbeing practitioners ready to work with greater depth and confidence
You may already have a private practice, strong practical skills and a genuine commitment to helping people feel better. You may also have noticed that many client-issues do not sit in the body, the symptoms or the treatment itself, but are shaped by deeper psychological patterns that influence how people feel, respond and recover.
This page is for wellbeing practitioners who want to understand clients more deeply, communicate more effectively and bring stronger psychological insight into the work you already do. It is especially relevant for bodyworkers, massage therapists, somatic practitioners, yoga and meditation teachers and other complementary health practitioners who want to deepen your psychological lens
THE CHALLENGE
When clients keep coming back with the same problems
Many wellbeing practitioners find themselves working hard to support clients, only to see the same symptoms return, or new symptoms take their place. Often, the deeper psychological roots of those issues remain unaddressed, which can leave you feeling limited in what your current training gives you to work with.
You may also find boundary issues difficult to navigate, feel unsure how to handle difficult clients, or recognise that mindset, communication and relational patterns are playing a bigger role in client wellbeing than you were originally trained to work with. For many practitioners, this creates a growing sense that you need a clearer framework for understanding what is happening between therapist and client, both psychologically and relationally.
You may also want to be taken more seriously in your field, build stronger professional recognition by exploring whether a career pathway as a registered psychotherapist or counsellor is suitable for you.

WHY TA MATTERS
Understanding the Psychology Behind Client Patterns
Transactional Analysis gives wellbeing practitioners a practical framework for understanding the psychodynamics that unfold between practitioner and client. It helps you recognise common pitfalls, avoid destructive patterns and work with clearer boundaries, stronger communication and greater confidence.
For practitioners looking for transactional analysis training that goes beyond techniques alone, TA gives you a practical map for understanding difficult client dynamics and what may be driving them. It helps you work with greater clarity, stronger boundaries and more confidence in the therapeutic relationship.

WHY TA ACADEMY
A Training Approach That Respects the Work You Already Do
TA Academy is a particularly good fit for wellbeing practitioners because it does not dismiss or diminish the therapy work you have already done. Instead, it helps you add a stronger psychological framework to the work you already know, while opening up new ways to understand trauma, communication, boundaries and relational dynamics.
This is especially meaningful here because co-founder and facilitator Gerry Pyves brings decades of experience in bodywork, trauma and energy-based practice into the training room. He has been providing transactional analysis training to complimentary therapists for over thirty years and has seen the direct link between your professional success and psychologically informed communication.
